• Accessible to the mainland by a high-rise, fixed, concrete bridge is Ocean Isle Beach, a southern facing barrier island with 7 miles of wide sugar sand beaches on the blue-green waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
• Ocean Isle Beach is centrally located between historic Wilmington, North Carolina 40 miles to the north and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 30 miles to the south.
• Recreational activities include 36 world class golf courses within 15 minutes of Ocean Isle Beach, with 76 conveniently located along the Grand Strand.
• Shell searching, walking, and tanning are the activities of the day on our pristine beaches, while sailing, kayaking, canoeing, and scuba diving can be enjoyed in the Intracoastal Waterway or the Atlantic Ocean.
• Fish the surf, pier, and waterway for great inshore action, or if you prefer, just a short distance off shore offers world class catches of king fish, bill fish, red snapper, grouper, mahi mahi, and tuna, just to name a few.
• Ocean Isle Beach airport features a 4,000 foot lighted runway to service general aviation. Major air carrier access is available in either Wilmington or Myrtle Beach International Airport only 45 minutes from the beach.
